TCU Gives Day raised its second highest amount in its 11-year history. Exceeding its
goal of 2,024 participants, TCU attracted 3,066 donors who contributed a total of
$1,862,834.
鈥淭he 24-hour Gives Day online challenge highlights the importance of philanthropy
and how it positively impacts every student at the university,鈥 Kristee Bell, assistant
vice chancellor of development, loyalty giving, said.
Horned Frogs unlocked more than $540,000 in challenge gifts for each school and college,
as well as those benefiting Black Alumni Alliance and Hispanic Alumni Alliance scholarships,
the Mary Couts Burnett Library and Frog Club. Results from all 2024 TCU Gives Day
challenge gifts can be found鈥.
Other takeaways from TCU Gives Day 2024:
- The day saw donor representation from all 50 states and 14 countries, which was highlighted

- More than 338 total students and 677 TCU faculty and staff members contributed throughout
the day.
- More than 2,700 gifts under $150 were made.
- TCU students, parents and grandparents unlocked a total of $55,000 in challenge gifts
simply by making a gift to any designation on campus.

Donor maps and leaderboards allowed Horned Frogs to see top-performing areas, class years and affiliations throughout the day, which made for friendly competition among the TCU family. Site visitors also had the opportunity to complete the , which provided suggested giving areas based on a user鈥檚 response to six questions and is still available to guide future giving.
Purple pinwheels were placed on the front lawn of Sadler Hall symbolizing the collective
power of giving, with each pinwheel representing one student donor who participated on TCU Gives Day.
